<p>The Buffet Attendant is responsible primarily for maintaining buffet items. This person must have good communication skills as this is a fast paced position with continual customer contact. The ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight is necessary.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Set up, maintain, and break down the breakfast buffet according to Hyatt Place standards </li><li>Prepare and replenish food and beverage items to ensure availability throughout service </li><li>Monitor food quality, freshness, temperature, and presentation </li><li>Maintain a clean and organized breakfast area, dining room, and kitchen/prep spaces </li><li>Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene policies </li><li>Greet guests courteously and respond promptly to guest needs or concerns </li><li>Clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently to maintain a pleasant dining environment </li><li>Operate, clean, and maintain breakfast equipment (coffee machines, warmers, dispensers) </li><li>Communicate inventory needs or shortages to management </li><li>Support team members and assist other departments as needed </li></ul>
