Assists F&B Director in achieving department objectives by performing the following duties.</p> <p>As a Banquet Manager, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Train staff on proper table service. </li><li>Communicate setup, service, and breakdown procedures. </li><li>Execute daily staff schedules and breaks. </li><li>Coordinate with the sales floor manager on forecasts. </li><li>Assign and oversee opening, running, and closing duties. </li><li>Ensure adherence to the department schedule and time clock procedures. </li><li>Maintain food, beverage, and supply quality control. </li><li>Inspect dining areas for safety, sanitation, and security compliance. </li><li>Provide excellent guest service. </li><li>Manage staff schedules to meet service standards and budgets. </li><li>Conduct training and meetings for staff development. </li><li>Enforce company policies and disciplinary actions. </li><li>Approve discounts and complimentary checks within guidelines. </li><li>Prepare revenue forecasts and operate within budget. </li><li>Maintain operational manuals and inventory par stock. </li><li>Oversee beverage controls and POS system functions. </li><li>Track and report missing checks, guest walkouts, and invoices. </li><li>Ensure compliance with company and government policies. </li><li>Enforce buffet and event cash controls. </li><li>Prepare monthly department reports. </li><li>Document staff attendance and enforce grooming policies. </li><li>Attend manager meetings and recognize staff performance. </li><li>Assist restaurant staff during peak hours. </li><li>Participate in the company's Goals & Measurements Program. </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities</p> <p>Banquet staff personnel. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.</p> <p>To excel in this role, you must embody our core values of integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic.
