<p>What You'll Be Doing</p> <p>Bring your procurement, contract administration and compliance expertise to a role that supports meaningful community impact as the next Contracts & Inspections Manager for the Department of Housing Affordability and Community Revitalization.</p> <p>This leadership position provides coordination and oversight of the department's contract administration and inspection services. The role is responsible for helping ensure department programs and grants are administered in compliance with local, state and federal regulations, while also coordinating contract monitoring activities and supporting the review and resolution of compliance matters.</p> <p>The Contracts & Inspections Manager supervises a team of three, including one Contracts Specialist and two Housing Quality Inspectors and serves as an integral part of the department's efforts to maintain solid operations, accountability and service to the community.</p> <p>About Our Team</p> <p>Wake County Department of Housing's goal is to ensure that quality affordable housing is available for all Wake County residents. As the population and economy continue to grow in Wake County, the need for affordable housing development and preservation increases. Not only do more units of affordable housing need to be built, housing services must be provided to support families and individuals to access or maintain safe, decent, affordable housing. Affordable housing is also critical to preserving Wake County's economic competitiveness by offering housing for workers at all income levels, supporting housing stability and economic opportunity for its residents and furthering Wake County's commitment to healthy and inclusive growth.
