Adjunct instructors are hired within their respective fields for one or more semesters based on the needs of their respective academic school.</p> <p>A teaching assignment may or may not be available as of this date. Join our Continuing Education team as a Home & Garden Instructor!</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to lead non-credit courses for adult learners in topics such as:</p> <ul> <li>Home Maintenance & DIY </li><li>Interior Decorating </li><li>Landscaping & Garden Design </li><li>Organic Gardening </li><li>Seasonal Home Projects </li><li>Sustainable Living & Composting </li></ul> <p>(Have another idea? We're open to suggestions!)</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, along with related experience.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Preferred Skills & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in related field.Degree requirement may be substituted with relevant and equivalent work experience. </li><li>Expertise in home and/or garden-related fields </li><li>Prior teaching or public speaking experience (preferred, not required) </li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills </li><li>A creative, student-focused approach </li></ul>
