<p>Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee MEP projects throughout the DMV area. This full-charge role involves managing multiple medium to large-scale projects, with responsibilities that include preparing reports, maintaining records, securing vendor pricing, processing purchase orders, approving invoices, and maintaining correspondence with owner representatives.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for the cost of goods on all assigned jobs. </li><li>Maintain and review all RFIs, submittals, substitution requests, change proposals, project schedules, project budgets, purchase orders, and invoices for multiple projects. </li><li>Analyze projects to determine scope, cost, and scheduling requirements. </li><li>Obtain permits from both General Contractors and local jurisdictions. </li><li>Arrange for returns of unused materials to vendors and ensure credit has been issued. </li><li>Obtain drawings from General Contractors and distribute them to necessary personnel. </li><li>Travel to multiple job locations as needed. </li><li>Attend meetings as required. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Project management experience in construction. </li><li>Strong history in mechanical engineering. </li><li>Experience with sheet metal, HVAC, and plumbing. </li><li>Proficiency in Procore software. </li><li>Ability to handle change orders and RFIs. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field preferred. </li><li>Minimum of 5+ years as a Project Manager in the commercial HVAC mechanical construction industry on projects valued at $350k or more. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This position requires on-site work at the office in Ashburn, with occasional travel to job sites. Candidates must have the ability to lift up to 60 pounds and maintain a high level of confidentiality for company projects and policy.
