<p>Precision Custom Components (PCC) is seeking a talented Lead NDE Level III to join our team. This is an on-site position reporting to our manufacturing facility in York, PA.</p> <p>At PCC, you'll be part of a skilled team that delivers high-quality, made-to-spec components where precision, reliability, and customer focus matter. Whether you're driving results in the office or making them happen on the shop floor, you'll collaborate across departments to solve problems, support efficient operations, and help ensure every component is completed safely, accurately, and with precision!</p> <p>The Lead NDE Level III is responsible for the planning, technical direction, and implementation of a Non-Destructive Examination program compliant with T9074-AS-GIB-010/271, ASME B&PV Code and NAVSEA 250-1500-1. The individual will be responsible for maintaining PCC's SNT-TC-1A certification program and will perform training/certification of Level I/Level II personnel. This position is also responsible for maintaining an isotope radiography safety program per 10CFR34.</p> <p>Essential Duties of the Lead NDE Level III:</p> <ul> <li>Implement and maintain SNT-TC-1A qualification program for Level I/Level II personnel. </li><li>Prepare NDE procedures. </li><li>Perform all required duties of a Radiation Safety Officer per 10CFR34. </li><li>Provide formal training to Level I/Level II personnel. </li><li>Determine feasibility of alternative NDE requirements. </li><li>Provide technical support to Level I/Level II personnel, as applicable, including the recommendations for new equipment which would improve NDE processes. </li><li>Provide technical support to engineering. Improve communications and understanding of NDE principles and capabilities. </li><li>Provide input to manufacturing, engineering, and other personnel relative to technical requirements of procedures. </li><li>Maintain close communication with operational departments. </li><li>Provide technical support and assistance during the evaluation and the formulation of custom proposals. </li><li>Assure contract specifications are met while meeting budgetary and schedule guidelines. </li><li>Provide training within the Quality Methods group. </li><li>Resolve NDE disputes with customers. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Education/Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associate degree in Metrology/NDE or Degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience in Non-Destructive Examination. Completion of an apprenticeship program is desirable. </li><li>Minimum eight years of Non-Destructive Examination, experience as an SNT-TC-1A level III in MT, PT, VT, and RT disciplines. SNT-TC-1A level III status in UT and LT disciplines is desirable. </li><li>NSTR-99 certification in PT and RT will be expected within 6 months after hire date. </li><li>Must meet 10CFR34 requirements for a Radiation Safety Officer. </li><li>Current IRRSP card holder with 2,000 hours of isotope experience is required. </li><li>Excellent computer skills required.
