Our custom and standard industrial ovens are used for a wide range of applications, including heat treating, finishing, drying, and curing. Wisconsin Oven customers cover a wide range of industries, including aerospace/military, automotive, commercial heat treating, and energy/oil to name a few.</p> <p>We offer great benefits, including:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, dental, and vision insurances </li><li>Paid vacation and company holiday time </li><li>401 (k) with employer match and immediate vesting </li><li>Employee training programs, tuition assistance, and career growth opportunities! </li></ul> <p>Go here to see our full benefit information: https://www.wisoven.com/careers/employee-benefits</p> <p>EOE AA M/F/H/V</p> <p>Summary: This position designs electrical control systems and gas, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam piping layouts for industrial ovens.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Research, develop, and design electrical control systems, gas, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam piping layouts, meeting engineering standards, applicable codes, customer specifications, and within cost constraints. </li><li>Research, develop, design, program, and debug PLC's (program logic controls), operator interfaces, communication devices, and frequency drives. </li><li>Review and interpret customer specifications and sales agreements. </li><li>Work with customers and vendors on equipment design. </li><li>Ensure conformance to codes and to company standards for quality and manufacturability. Familiarity with UL508A, NFPA 79, NFPA 86, NEC, etc. </li><li>Develop and maintain designs layouts in the computerized system. Ability to generate bill of material and be within budget of the project. </li><li>Redesign standard products, improving quality and productivity, while reducing costs. </li><li>Evaluate and select components and parts for products. </li><li>Develop working relationships with Mechanical Engineering and with other departments to address and resolve issues. </li><li>Act as a technical resource for sales personnel, service technicians, Quality Assurance technicians, and for product field support of customers. </li><li>Participate in cross-functional teams to address and resolve manufacturing, design, and quality problems, and to ensure the continuous improvement of processes and methods. </li><li>Stay current and informed of new developments in the industry and new parts or methods to improve products or product designs. </li><li>Occasionally travel to customer sites. </li></ul> <p>Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and three to five years of related experience preferred. AutoCAD 2000 (minimum), AutoCAD Electrical a plus. Experience with Rockwell Automation PLC/HMI programming, Siemens TIA portal a plus.</p> <p>Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as technical specifications, professional journals, and blueprints. Ability to write reports and documentation. Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and other employees of the Company.</p> <p>Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.</p> <p>Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.</p> <p>Other Qualifications: Creative thinker, motivated, and highly organized. Team player with a positive attitude. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications. We will not be able to sponsor work related Visas for this opening.</p> <p>Physical Demands: While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls; talk; and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach above the shoulders, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds. Specific vision abilities required in this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.</p>
