The ideal candidate supports inclusive practices and is an advocate for all student by affirming their ablilities and striving to promote dignity in all relationships.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>High School Diploma, Associates Degree preferred.</p> <p>Experience:</p> <p>Previous experience working with children, specifically with disabilities, preferred.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist students in achieving academic success </li><li>Support students who may require emotional regulation </li><li>Provide behavior support (training provided) </li><li>Support social integration </li><li>Consult and collaborate with Special Education and Regular Education Educators as well as related service providers </li><li>Assist students with physical elements of hygiene and grooming </li><li>Assist students with daily transactions (e.g. transition between tasks and/or rooms, lunch, playground, etc. </li></ul>
