Join our team and start your journey today!</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Lead a global team to develop and implement a Direct Material global sourcing strategy to improve flexibility and supply assurance Work with materials engineering and the business to develop a global sourcing plan that aligns with regulatory bodies including PFAS and UL. Forecast containment and inflation projects for current and future years. Establish goals to improve trade working capital with increased payment terms, lower inventory, and shorter lead times. Develop a capacity and regionalization plan for each part of the commodity. Establish agreements with suppliers. Perform electronic sourcing bids & request for proposal events in Ariba. Collaborate with Supplier Quality to improve supplier performance (PPM). Effectively communicate, lead meetings, make presentations, and use tact and professionalism at all times by using core competencies.</p> <p>This position could be based in Sidney, OH or St Louis, MO.</p> <p>As the Global Procurement Manager, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Lead a global team to develop and implement a Direct Material global sourcing strategy to improve flexibility and supply assurance </li><li>Work with materials engineering and the business to develop a global sourcing plan that aligns with regulatory bodies including PFAS and UL </li><li>Forecast containment and inflation projects for current and future years </li><li>Establish goals to improve trade working capital with increased payment terms, lower inventory, and shorter lead times </li><li>Develop a capacity and regionalization plan for each part of the commodity </li><li>Establish agreements with suppliers </li><li>Perform electronic sourcing bids & request for proposal events in Ariba </li><li>Collaborate with Supplier Quality to improve supplier performance (PPM) </li><li>Effectively communicate, lead meetings, make presentations, and use tact and professionalism at all times by using core competencies </li></ul> <p>Required education, experiences & skills:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field </li><li>Eight (8) years of experience in a Procurement function or related experience </li><li>Strong project management skills </li><li>A strategic-orientated individual that achieves timely results </li><li>Ability to review processes and provide feedback on how to improve the processes </li><li>Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets and charts </li><li>Able to travel up to 25% globally </li><li>Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future </li></ul> <p>Preferred education, experiences & skills:</p> <ul> <li>Masters' Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field </li><li>Ten (10) years of experience in a Procurement function or related experience </li><li>Minimum of four (4) years of experience in Commodity Management Developing & Sourcing suppliers in Resin Components </li><li>Prior experience managing a commodity, global team, or large scope project </li><li>Technically proficient to read blueprints </li></ul> <p>Collaboration First Hybrid Work Arrangements:</p> <p>This role is hybrid eligible with the requirement to be in office at least three days per week. Colleagues are expected to demonstrate a collaboration first mindset, which is the understanding that teams will work together in-person and colleagues should be flexible to adjust their hybrid days based on business needs. This location is the headquarters for the air conditioning and cold chain businesses. Through our 30 years of scroll compressor expertise, our air conditioning related products help bring comfort and convenience in commercial, industrial and residential spaces. The cold chain business helps ensure that food safely and efficiently travels from farm to fork. Approximately 1600 employees work in Sidney, who all support a multitude of business functions.
