<p>Operations Manager</p> <p>Location: Orleans Technical College</p> <p>This pivotal role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, drives key initiatives, and strengthens collaboration across academic and workforce programs.</p> <p>The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, strong communicator, and resourceful problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic educational environment.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>Strategic & Operational Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Serve as a trusted advisor to the SVP, helping turn strategic goals into actionable plans. </li><li>Streamline daily operations to enhance coordination across programs and departments. </li><li>Track progress on major initiatives and ensure timely completion of deliverables. </li><li>Prepare data summaries, dashboards, and reports to support informed decision-making. </li></ul> <p>Project & Initiative Management</p> <ul> <li>Lead cross-functional projects, including new program development, accreditation activities, and workforce initiatives. </li><li>Manage timelines, resources, and communication for complex projects. </li><li>Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency. </li></ul> <p>Team & Communication Support</p> <ul> <li>Facilitate clear communication between the SVP and internal teams. </li><li>Prepare agendas, materials, and follow-up summaries for key meetings. </li><li>Collaborate with program directors, coordinators, and instructional staff to support strong program performance. </li></ul> <p>Administrative & Compliance Support</p> <ul> <li>Assist with grant documentation, program compliance, and accreditation reporting. </li><li>Assist with budgeting, purchasing, and resource planning in partnership with finance. </li><li>Ensure required state, accrediting, and institutional documents are accurate and submitted on time. </li></ul> <p>External Partnership Coordination</p> <ul> <li>Support employer relationships, workforce partners, and advisory board activities. </li><li>Coordinate campus visits, partnership meetings, and special events. </li><li>Represent the SVP at selected internal and external meetings. </li><li></li><li>Bachelor's degree in education, business, human services, or related field. </li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, administration, project management, or higher education leadership. </li><li>Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. </li><li>Strong communication and relationship-building abilities. </li><li>Proven track record of problem-solving and driving results. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in career and technical education, workforce development, or postsecondary administration. </li><li>Familiarity with accreditation (e.g., ACCSC, Board of Nursing) and state regulatory processes. </li><li>Experience working with employer partners or community workforce organizations. </li></ul> <p>Why Join Us?</p> <p>This is an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of nurses, lead a committed team of educators, and make a lasting impact in healthcare education. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
