<p>Phlebotomist (Intermediate Level)</p> <p>Location: Back Office Clinical Setting</p> <p>Schedule: Medium-paced environment, handling 10-20 patients per day</p> <p>We're seeking a skilled and personable Phlebotomist to join our clinical team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy setting and is confident managing the full spectrum of specimen collection and processing independently.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens </li><li>Process samples: centrifuge, refrigerate, freeze, and prepare for send-out </li><li>Update patient charts and perform accurate data entry </li><li>Verify billing and insurance details, including ABN documentation </li><li>Ensure proper specimen labeling and handling </li><li>Maintain a clean and organized workspace </li></ul> <p>Required Skills</p> <ul> <li>Phlebotomy (CPT) </li><li>Blood collection and venipuncture techniques </li><li>Specimen processing and sample preparation </li><li>Insurance verification and ABN procedures </li><li>Strong attention to detail and data accuracy </li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills </li></ul> <p>Must-Have Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Completion of phlebotomy training/schooling </li><li>Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in phlebotomy and specimen processing </li><li>Proficiency with centrifuging, refrigerating, and handling samples </li><li>Friendly, outgoing personality with a patient-first mindset </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Phlebotomy certification (CPT) </li><li>Familiarity with Atlas and Sunquest computer systems </li></ul> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job</p> <p>classification and length of employment.
