<p>Job Summary</p> <p>Online Merchandising is a key role in the online business. The position is responsible for how product is presented on the website to end consumers. How a product is described on the site, its keywords, and overall maintenance of a product's characteristics can be the determining factor as to whether a customer chooses to by from our website or a competitor's site.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Checking new style set up in the content management system for Journeys US site. </li><li>Review e-mail and home page weekly prior to deployment </li><li>Ability to work with buying and merchandising teams of Journeys Group to ensure accuracy of </li></ul> <p>all owned brand and style numbers.</p> <ul> <li>Manage receiving communication on rebuy and new site additions. </li><li>Participate in cross collaboration meetings for product journey. </li><li>Create and contribute to weekly/monthly reporting of site changes </li><li>Familiarizes self with all marketing, team, special events, trends, and new logos. </li><li>Review products on the website to confirm appropriate naming, descriptions, and product </li></ul> <p>placement.</p> <ul> <li>Analyze product performance using KPI software. </li><li>Review and update the New Arrivals and Best Sellers monthly on all assigned platforms. </li><li>Conduct site audits on Trend collections and brands. </li><li>Assist Sr. Merchandising Mgr. on trend research for curating new collections. </li><li>Create and distribute Launch product inventory report and timeline sell through. </li><li>Create and distribute Exclusive product inventory report and timeline sell through. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Undergrad Degree preferred </li><li>Creative writing experience desired </li><li>2-3 years of experience in Merchandising preferred </li><li>Proven ability to perform independently with minimal supervision </li><li>Ability to operate a computer and maneuver relevant software programs </li><li>Proficient in MS Office Suite </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Detail oriented </li><li>Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload </li><li>Ability to meet deadlines and respond to critical requests appropriately </li><li>Team Player </li></ul>
