<p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Associate Engineer for the Field Services team is responsible for engineering, second and third-level technical support, and technology integration services for low to moderately complex systems and infrastructure. Participates in team initiatives while simultaneously participating in multiple IT project implementations. Has a working knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures.</p> <p>Primary Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Plans, coordinates and schedules all aspects of IT for new community startups, moves and closures. </li><li>Manages the full computer lifecycle including compliance with Legal Holds processes. </li><li>Uses basic knowledge of technology and desktop operating systems to provide and implement developed solutions for division-specific needs. </li><li>Ensure the reliability, performance, and availability of critical systems through advanced monitoring techniques. </li><li>Proactively identify and resolve moderately complex, high-impact infrastructure challenges. </li><li>Works with senior technical team members to optimize local infrastructure components to meet performance requirements. </li><li>With guidance, performs site-based troubleshooting & diagnostics gathering as needed. </li><li>Participates in internal initiatives for the implementation, use, and improvement of processes, procedures, guidelines, and metrics for infrastructure systems. </li><li>Serves as the primary integration point among centralized corporate infrastructure processes & field locations. </li><li>Interfaces with all levels of the division-based hierarchy & all IT functional groups. </li><li>Provide on-call support as required to ensure timely resolution of critical after hour issues. </li><li>Must provide exceptional customer service & translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences. </li><li>Provides basic technical training on IT-sponsored applications following a provided curriculum. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Career Level (P1)</p> <p>Organizational Impact:</p> <ul> <li>Works to achieve day-to-day objectives with limited impact beyond the level area. </li><li>Work is of limited scope, typically on smaller, less complex projects or task- related activities. </li><li>Work is closely supervised. </li></ul> <p>Leadership & Talent Management:</p> <ul> <li>Not applicable - Jobs at this level are focused on self-development. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Requires theoretical knowledge typically obtained through specific education and training </li><li>Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and 0-2 year of prior relevant experience. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills</p> <ul> <li>Technology skillset varies by team </li></ul> <p>Required Licensing, Registration and/or Certifications</p> <ul> <li>Technical certifications vary by role </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>May require travel </li></ul> <p>PulteGroup, Inc. and its affiliates do not accept unsolicited resumes from individual recruiters or third party recruiting agencies (collectively, "Recruiters") in response to job postings.
