AAR constantly searches for the right thing to do for its customers, employees, partners and for society.</p> <p>The Worldwide Aviation Support Services (WASS) program, an AAR business, headquartered in Rockledge, FL, provides global, world-class expeditionary and conventional aviation solutions to the US Department of State Air Wing.</p> <p>Role Description:</p> <ul> <li>Serve as a Non Rated Crew Member NRCM Loadmaster LM Standardization Instructor SI for the DHC-8. </li><li>Responsible for accomplishing all required LM NRCM duties in accordance with policies and procedures. </li><li>Responsible for instruction, evaluation, and standardization of Loadmaster personnel IAW approved aircrew training programs, applicable INLA directives, and regulatory guidance. </li><li>This is a full time Home of Record HOR based worldwide deployable position. </li></ul> <p>Key Responsibility:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Functions as a FW NRCM Subject Matter Expert SME on issues related to FW NRCMs, as a representative of the Chief of Standards CoS.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct training and evaluations of FW Loadmasters, Flight Instructors FI and Standardization Instructors SI.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct FW NRCM standardization program oversight.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform NRCM LM duties in accordance with aircrew training program requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Plan and perform airdrop operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Plan and perform loading and unloading activities, compute the center of gravity position and ensure it is within prescribed limits at all times.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure the cargo compartment is properly configured for each mission.</p> </li><li> <p>Verify and maintain a manifest for cargo and or personnel.</p> </li><li> <p>Supervise and participate in loading and unloading operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure cargo and passengers are properly restrained.</p> </li><li> <p>Confirm security of cargo and passengers as necessary.</p> </li><li> <p>Supervise passengers during routine and emergency operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Report any malfunction, maintenance, or safety concern to the Pilot in Command.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform emergency procedure actions as required by applicable directives and or the Pilot in Command.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform aircraft servicing duties including fueling operations and aircraft configuration changes as required.</p> </li><li> <p>Position requires a U.S. Security Clearance.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform routine OCONUS travel and within CONUS travel as required.</p> </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>FAA Airframe and Power Plant Mechanics License. </li><li>Current FAA Class III Medical Certificate. </li><li>AOCF 1A, 2X1 Aircraft Loadmaster AFSC series or another military or commercial documented equivalent. </li><li>Minimum of 650 flight hours as a FW Loadmaster or Flight Engineer. </li><li>Minimum 1 year experience as a crewmember instructor. </li><li>3 years of loadmaster experience on multi engine fixed wing aircraft. </li><li>Spanish Level L2, R2 required in LATAM Programs. </li><li>Ability to travel domestically and internationally for 180 days or more annually, schedule may vary monthly. </li><li>Obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of the US Army Flight Instructor Course. </li><li>Full-time load master, A and P DHC8 mechanic for the past 12 months. </li><li>Prior load master experience with Pratt and Whitney PT6 engines and Hamilton Standard propeller systems. </li><li>Have an active U.S. DoD Security Clearance. </li></ul> <p>Compensation and Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Salaried Position. </li><li>Rotation schedule. </li><li>Competitive salary and bonus package. </li><li>Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage. </li><li>401(k) retirement plan with company match. </li><li>Professional development and career advancement opportunities. </li></ul> <p>AAR is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
