<p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>Do you have a passion to provide meaningful work in the community? Then the South Carolina Department of Social Services has the right job opportunity for you.</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>The Human Resource Liaison serves as the Human Resource Liaison for Lancaster County DSS, administering the human resources administration function. </li><li>Performs job delivery and/or performance with positive or appropriate customer service delivery to clients, the public, and co-workers as an integral requirement. </li><li>Administers various personnel actions to include processing required documents for new hire, terminations, promotions, demotions etc. Maintains county human resource files for active and inactive staff. </li><li>Administers employee benefit programs for areas assigned, as well as time/leave administration and assistance with SCEIS. </li><li>Administers classification and compensation program to include processing posing descriptions, EPMS, pay actions, requesting User ID's and other related documents. </li><li>Assists managers, employees and the general public with human resources related matters including programs, policy and regulatory interpretations. </li><li>Administers employment and recruiting activities, such as preparing vacancy announcements, scheduling interviews as requested, reviewing applications for temporary and grant positions to determine qualifications, distributes referral list and assists managers with hiring activity as needed. </li><li>Assists clerical staff as needed for backup purposes, as well as assists as back up for Business Manager and keeps Director informed of HR/SCEIS changes, issues, etc. </li><li>Safe Measure Coordinator for the Lancaster County, maintain accounts are created and unlock for new/current users/employees. Performs other related duties as required. </li><li>Performs Red Cross shelter duty or other emergency shelter duty/services as directed. </li></ul> <p>Minimum and Additional Requirements</p> <p>A High School Diploma and four (4) years of responsible clerical experience.</p> <p>An Associate Degree and two (2) years of responsible clerical experience.</p> <p>A Bachelor's Degree or higher may be substituted for the required work experience.</p> <p>Additional Comments</p> <p>This application for employment with the SC Department of Social Services must be completed in its entirety.
