<p>Position Overview</p> <p>Under direct supervision of the Prosecuting Attorney, this full-time, unclassified position handles personnel and payroll related matters; provides administrative support; and performs other related duties, as indicated.</p> <p>Summary of Job Duties</p> <p>Prepare and post vacant full-time and seasonal position descriptions and participate in recruitment and onboarding process;</p> <p>Prepare and maintain personnel files;</p> <p>Prepare, audit and submit bi-weekly payroll for approximately 140 employees;</p> <p>Maintain attendance records for approximately 140 employees;</p> <p>Maintain employee profiles, schedules, timecards and leave requests in HRIS software applications;</p> <p>Maintain confidentiality of information and handling of sensitive information and documents;</p> <p>Handle email, phone calls and other forms of communication; both internal and external;</p> <p>Address employee concerns and issues and implement decisive action in disciplinary matters when necessary.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications and Requirements</p> <p>FMLA, HIPAA, workers compensation, and unemployment;</p> <p>Employee relations;</p> <p>Office practices and procedures;</p> <p>Office equipment;</p> <p>Microsoft Office;</p> <p>Use of various software applications required for recruitment and compliance;</p> <p>Public relations matters;</p> <p>Personnel procedures and practices;</p> <p>Develop and maintain effective working relationships with Division Heads, Directors, Supervisors, Attorneys, Support Staff, as well as outside contacts;</p> <p>Effective oral and written communication.</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS DESIRABLE FOR EMPLOYMENT:</p> <p>Minimum high school graduate, supplemented by experience and education in business administration and office procedures; ability to operate all office equipment and use Microsoft Office software. Previous experience in a Human Resource role and/or Human Resource degree preferred.</p> <p>NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: Valid Ohio driver's license.</p>
