<p>Atmus Filtration Technologies provides engineering experiences for students across a wide range of engineering disciplines and STEM aligned degree programs. Co-op & Intern roles are typically project based and the student will gain a broad range of experiences and will grow as both a person and a professional.</p> <p>To be successful in this role you will need experience in any/all of the following:</p> <ul> <li>Mechatronics, Fluid or Hydraulic systems </li><li>Testing </li><li>Instrumentation </li><li>Data Acquisition(DAQ) </li><li>Programming </li><li>Coding </li><li>Electrical systems </li><li>Chemistry </li><li>Computer science (Networking, IT, Databases) </li></ul> <p>Degree Programs Considered: Master's</p> <p>Major Programs Typically Considered: Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Computer Engineering</p> <p>Co-Op program criteria:</p> <ul> <li>Must be a currently enrolled student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree. </li><li>Minimum 2.5 or above GPA preferred. </li><li>Must be able to complete a minimum of 3-months to 6-months or a maximum of a 12-months commitment. </li><li>Must be able to complete 40 hours per week. </li><li>Willingness to learn from others on the job. </li></ul> <p>The Student Engineering Co-op/Interns will gain knowledge and support experienced engineering staff in one or more of the following areas:</p> <ul> <li>Research & Development - New Media & Materials, Chemical Systems, Advanced Manufacturing Systems & Processes </li><li>Product Design / Development / Validation - New Product Development, Current Product Support or Validation/Verification planning for filtration & separation systems </li><li>Customer Engineering - Application & Customer support, Issue Resolution </li><li>Test Engineering - Development of new laboratory equipment, procedures, and test methods </li><li>Reliability - Product Development Risk Assessment & Failure Analysis </li><li>Data Science - Inferential Data Analysis & Predictive Tool Creation </li></ul>
