<p>What you'll do:</p> <ul> <li>Plan, estimate, schedule, organize, and direct activities concerned with project installation, maintenance, and demobilization </li><li>Be a safety champion: Lead by example and hold others responsible for working safely and providing a safe working environment </li><li>Lead and administer technicians and contractors in the field </li><li>Managing 3-5 major projects at a time </li><li>Manage a wide range of project types and complexities and adapt to change as required </li><li>Travel 40-60 % of time to any area in North America in varying industries and environments </li><li>Support Project Delivery teams during the preliminary, installation and commissioning phases of the project life cycle. </li><li>Define, develop and implement control systems that enhance the functional and operational efficiency of equipment and project sites. </li><li>Compile engineering design reports and electrical and mechanical systems schematic drawings using CAD. </li><li>Support all project design change activities </li><li>Design and specification of 'specialist' electrical equipment in conjunction with the Product team. </li><li>Lead the technical elements of a FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) / SAT (Site Acceptance Test). </li><li>Customer service focus with clients and internal stakeholders </li></ul> <p>We're experts, which means you'll have the following skills and experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent 5-9 years related experience </li><li>5+ years of significant project experience </li><li>Persistent, positive, critical thinking, self-reliant personality </li><li>Project Management certification from PMI, APM, or equivalent is a plus </li><li>Working in/with the petrochemical or utilities fields preferred </li><li>Background knowledge in project management of one or more product related fields preferred (HVAC, Electrical and/or Power Generation, etc.) </li><li>Ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams, P&IDs and process design packages </li><li>Ability to recognize major issues ahead of time and alert key stakeholders to develop corrective actions </li><li>Work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problem, and make decisions enhancing project effectiveness </li></ul> <p>Equity, diversity and inclusion at Aggreko</p> <p>We welcome people from different backgrounds and cultures, and respect people's unique skills, attitudes and experiences.
