<p>Location: On site in Memphis, TN; Nashville, TN; Johnson City, TN; Miami Lakes, FL; Knoxville, TN</p> <p>SUMMARY</p> <p>This position is responsible for back-office processes associated with Currency Transaction Reporting to include: collecting information, researching transactions, verifying accuracy, and inputting/processing of CTRs within the bank's CTR filing system. Focus will also be on tasks related to process quality control of CTRs and other duties completed by CTR team members to ensure a high level of accuracy prior to submission of reports to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li></li><li>Maintain a good understanding of Bank Secrecy Act regulations and Financial Crimes Enforcement (FinCEN) guidelines relative to Currency Transaction Reporting. </li><li>Become proficient in duties associated with the CTR process including: </li><li>Viewing of daily CTR monitoring reports produced from bank system data. </li><li>By conducting adequate research, ensuring that teller completed reports and other CTR-applicable tools are cross-checked with monitoring reports to ensure full and thorough detection of all BSA/CTR-related transactions. </li><li>Work closely with FH banking centers, as needed, to obtain CTR-applicable missing or inaccurate information. </li><li>Inputting of data from a variety of sources in to the bank's CTR E-filing system. </li><li>Ensure that all CTRs prepared, researched, and filed are timely (with a strictly mandated 15-day federal deadline). </li><li>Continuously monitor client transactions for possible unusual activity while performing daily job duties, and refer any such detected activity over to the BSA Compliance Suspicious Activity Monitoring (SAM) unit. </li><li>Work with the team Lead and Management to ensure QC-related tasks are properly documented, and applicable team members are made aware of findings as needed. </li><li>Perform other tasks associated with the CTR process as assigned by management. </li></ul> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>No supervisory responsibilities </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required in this position:</p> <ul> <li>At least 5 years or more of prior banking experience. </li><li>5 years or more of direct experience with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Compliance-related functions, preferably working with Currency Transaction Reporting tasks. </li><li>Previous QC/Audit-related experience, preferably with BSA associated tasks is a plus. </li><li>Bachelor's degree preferred; and preferably with an emphasis on financial, audit, law enforcement, or other risk-related field. </li><li>Although not required, prior experience with Wolters-Kluwer vendor products, especially CTR-oriented tools, is a plus. </li><li>Strong ability to organize and prioritize workflow, ensure accuracy and commitment to detail, and to work independently while taking ownership of assignments. </li></ul> <p>COMPUTER AND OFFICE EQUIPMENT SKILLS</p> <ul> <li>Proficient with us of Microsoft Office suite products. </li></ul> <p>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS (Ex: CPA, Series 6 or 7 license, etc)</p> <p>None required, but CAMS, CAFP, or equivalent is a plus.</p> <p>About Us</p> <p>First Horizon Corp.
