Eligibility and Employer Sponsored Plans can be found within each of the links offered.</p> <p>Essential Job Duties</p> <p>The Department of Economics invites applications for part-time, non-tenure-track Lecturer positions. These appointments are typically for one semester or one academic year, with the possibility of renewal based on departmental needs and performance.</p> <p>Lecturers may be asked to teach one to three courses per semester at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. Instructional needs may include courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, labor economics, and/or law and economics.</p> <p>Specific teaching needs for the upcoming academic year will be determined as departmental scheduling and enrollment demands are finalized.</p> <p>Applications will remain on file for one year should openings arise in subsequent semesters.</p> <p>Other Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Contributing member of the department, college, and university. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Requires doctoral degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent experience in the appropriate field of interest. </li></ul> <p>Other Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Excellent teaching ability. </li><li>A commitment to the success of students and programs at the University. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>College teaching experience. </li></ul> <p>Required License(s) or Certification(s)</p> <p>N/A</p> <p>Valid NC Driver's License required No Commercial Driver's License required No</p>
