<p>Job#: 3028910</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Application Engineer</p> <p>Location: Denver, CO; Charlotte, NC (Onsite)</p> <p>Employment Type: Contract</p> <p>Contract Duration: 6 Months</p> <p>Role Overview</p> <p>An Application Engineer is sought to support, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications. This role involves collaboration with business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and vendors to ensure applications are stable, secure, and high-performing. The position includes participation in solution design, configuration, integration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management for critical systems.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Administer, configure, and maintain enterprise applications to ensure availability, reliability, and performance. </li><li>Monitor application health, logs, interfaces, and integrations to proactively identify and resolve issues. </li><li>Manage user access, roles, permissions, and data configurations. </li><li>Support upgrades, patches, and release deployments. </li><li>Comprehend customer requests and provide the correct solution. </li><li>Work with minimal supervision and as part of a team with diverse skill sets. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>Technical Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of application architecture, APIs, and system integrations. </li><li>Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and SQL. </li><li>Understanding of relational databases, cloud services, and middleware technologies. </li><li>Familiarity with Linux and Powershell. </li></ul> <p>Professional Skills:</p> <ul> <li>A self-starter who works with minimal supervision. </li><li>Strong analytical mind to address complicated problems. </li><li>Desire to resolve issues and investigate potential problems. </li><li>Ability to adapt and learn new technologies. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience with SafeBreach, Mandiant, or other testing tool implementation. </li><li>Experience with Ansible. </li></ul> <p>Compensation and Benefits</p> <p>Apex offers a range of supplemental benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and other insurance plans that offer an optional layer of financial protection.
