<p>WYCOPHD Strategic Operations Coordinator VISTA</p> <p>The Unified Government of Wyandotte County AmeriCorps VISTA Program strengthens local capacity to improve access to public health services for low-income and underserved residents. This position supports the Public Health Department's Strategic Operations team by developing sustainable systems that enhance planning, coordination, and service delivery. The VISTA member will support the development of tools, templates, and processes to track and implement the department's strategic plan. This includes creating a replicable framework for annual retreats and planning activities that align with departmental priorities and community needs. The member will also assist in strengthening resource development efforts by assessing current practices, supporting grant research, and developing grant pipelines and tracking systems. Additionally, the VISTA will help document workflows and tools related to performance management and quality improvement, supporting ongoing efforts to improve efficiency and effectiveness. The member will also participate in regional meetings and synthesize best practices to support accreditation and planning processes. By strengthening internal systems and resource development capacity, this project will improve the department's ability to deliver coordinated, high-quality services.
