<p>PURPOSE OF THE JOB</p> <p>The Product Owner leads ongoing customer discoveries to understand behaviors, motivations, problems, and opportunities across the customer journey. The PO will set direction and goals based on quantitative data, qualitative insights, and strong business acumen in collaboration with business leaders and stakeholders. In addition, the PO will also analyze the market and identify trends to predict the popularity of a product. They will collect data via market research to make recommendations about products, marketing plans, and launch strategies. This position can be located in any of our market locations. It is not eligible for remote or hybrid arrangements.</p> <p>MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB</p> <ul> <li>Document Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) via story mapping (organizing and prioritizing) </li><li>Supports Product Management initiatives by creating metric-driven reports </li><li>Gather product requirements and align them with business goals </li><li>Maintains project plans owned by Product Management </li><li>Coordinating with stakeholders to achieve product vision </li><li>Monitors competitor activity to identify new opportunities or threats to the company's existing products or business model </li><li>Contribute to a product's design, marketing, and pricing </li><li>Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new opportunities for existing products or services </li><li>Evaluates customer feedback to determine whether changes are needed to existing products or services </li><li>Research new technologies that may affect the development of new products </li><li>Balances work on current solutions and future opportunities </li><li>Coordinates product prioritization lists and issue management </li><li>Manages/updates/communicates evolving requirements and feature development throughout the product life cycle </li><li>Ability to prepare effective presentations </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Product Management </li></ul> <p>WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:</p> <p>Needed:</p> <ul> <li>5+ years' experience in the Financial Services industry </li><li>Very strong communication/interpersonal skills. Must be very comfortable with leading inter-departmental collaboration efforts </li><li>Very strong banking acumen; familiarity with Commercial/Treasury Management, Retail, or Mortgage products or services </li><li>Strong analytical skill set (e.g., Excel, creating/applying metrics, "ability to ask the right questions") </li><li>Very focused and detailed-oriented </li></ul> <p>Desired:</p> <ul> <li>Four-year college degree (e.g., Finance, Business Management/Administration) </li><li>3+ years' experience in a Assistant Product Manager/Product Management role </li><li>PowerPoint </li></ul> <p>HOME BANK IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER</p> <p>GOOD CREDIT IS A MUST</p> <p>CREDIT REPORT IS REQUIRED FOR EMPLOYMENT</p>
