If you are a friendly, motivated person, with a passion to serve others, the Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa may be your perfect match.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The Front Desk Supervisor is to provide friendly, efficient registration, guest settlement, and information to all guests and visitors, in addition to supervising, assisting, and elevating all Front Desk Associates.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Check guest in and out, ensuring proper credit is received, special requests are noted and fulfilled, and accurate information is established. </li><li>Thoroughly complete all guest transactions. </li><li>Promote and sell special hotel programs. </li><li>Interact with resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information. </li><li>Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and Resort policies. </li><li>Maintain your assigned bank. </li><li>Communicate all pertinent information to the Front Office Managers and Supervisors. </li><li>Follow set procedures on posting, charges, cashing checks, safe deposits, and refunds. </li><li>Solicit guest feedback </li><li>Supervise, Assist, and Elevate all Front Desk Associates. </li></ul> <p>HOTEL SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Cross-training in PBX, Concierge, and Bell-stand coverage </li></ul> <p>MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager. </li><li>Assist in other departments as needed </li><li>Attend monthly departmental meetings </li></ul> <p>TOOLS/EQUIPMENT:</p> <ul> <li>Computer and printer </li><li>Phone system </li><li>Radio </li><li>Photocopier </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school graduate or equivalent. </li><li>Two years of college education preferred. </li><li>Two years experience in a service industry, preferably in the hospitality industry. </li><li>Excellent oral and communication skills. </li><li>Computer literate. </li><li>Pleasant telephone demeanor. </li></ul>
