<p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>Boards and Commissions Coordinator</p> <p>The Department of Administration's Office of Executive Policy & Programs is seeking a Boards and Commissions Coordinator to join the team. We are in growth mode, and it is an exciting time to be a part of South Carolina state government. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating with the Governor's office to process, support and maintain the boards and commissions system (Salesforce). This role handles the day-to-day functions of the boards and commissions system to include data entry, application processing, and application monitoring to process applications for statewide boards and commissions.</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Boards and Commissions Coordinator:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Create new entries for boards and commissions positions.</p> </li><li> <p>Send applications to potential candidates for positions.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee the day-to-day monitoring of the system to include data quality assurance review.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist the division director/manager with supporting Governor's office functions.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in generating reports regarding boards and commissions' positions or data on a routine basis.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate and assist with troubleshooting any system issues for internal or external users.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist the ombudsman's office with constituent inquiries and correspondence requests, as needed.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum and Additional Requirements</p> <p>Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of administrative experience.</p> <p>Additional Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of administrative and organizational principles and communication practices. </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Must have the ability to understand and operate in a confidential environment with confidential data. </li></ul> <p>Applicants indicating college credit or degree(s) on the application will be required to bring a copy of college transcript to the interview. A copy of the transcript may also be uploaded as an attachment to the application, if required by the hiring department or if desired by the applicant. Please note that some areas of the Department may require an official, certified copy of the transcript prior to hiring or within a specific timeframe required by that area, after hiring.
