We transform the industry to make glass more relevant and more accessible to more people.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>This is a hybrid role in Perrysburg, Ohio.</p> <p>This position is accountable for the procurement of materials and services required to support an assigned commodity. The position will ensure compliance with OI Global Procurement policies and utilize procurement processes that follow best practices to achieve best total cost of ownership and best value for OI.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Development and execution of commodity strategy, aligned with the appropriate Global Sourcing Manager </li><li>Supervise procurement activities of Procurement Managers and/or Specialists </li><li>Assists Director and cross functional teams with supplier assessments & supplier selection </li><li>Collaborate with the Global Sourcing team to ensure regional activities are aligned with Global strategy </li><li>Leverage Global Sourcing Team to drive additional value within assigned region/countries </li><li>Collaborate with internal customers to ensure timely receipt of required materials </li><li>Conduct required supply market research and develop cost models to support sourcing projects </li><li>Leverage best practices, acquire category expertise and develop global / regional partnerships whenever possible </li><li>Ensure implementation and management of cost advantaged contracts and price agreements </li><li>Develop and issue RFI / RFP / RFQ activities for new and existing requirements leveraging the Strategic Sourcing Process </li><li>Issues quote requests to suppliers and negotiates pricing to meet business requirements at competitive price levels </li><li>Manage supplier performance in order to meet all quality, delivery, and service requirements </li><li>Develop and track KPI's / metrics including cost savings, working capital improvements and others as required </li><li>Proactively resolve quality and commercial issues with vendors and internal customers </li><li>Proactively aligns stakeholders for successful project implementation </li><li>Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders </li><li>Assist and/or lead special projects as required/assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related-area. (Procurement/Supply Chain preferred) </li><li>Minimum 7+ years procurement or relevant experience </li><li>Strong Leadership Skills </li><li>Previous strategic sourcing experience with technical and engineering categories preferred </li><li>CPM or CPSM preferred </li><li>Proficiency in negotiations, contract preparation and management, strategic sourcing and e procurement processes </li><li>Proficiency in analytics and computer skills including Microsoft Office, SAP, JDE </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Multi-site, global and manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>Salary Range: Actual compensation may vary depending on various factors, including but not limited to experience, education, and skill level. This range is provided in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
