This individual develops strategic relationships, understands our customer's business requirements, and balances those needs and expectations against the capabilities of the system. They provide technical assistance to applicants applying for external funding and functions as grants management expert by providing consultative services to all the IU Health network hospitals. They track and monitor awarded funds to provide effective control over and accountability for extramural funding, property and assets.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required. </li><li>Requires ability to interpret and explain laws, rules, regulations and policies. </li><li>Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). </li><li>Requires the ability to conduct comprehensive needs assessment and strategic planning. </li><li>Requires the ability to network at federal, state, and local levels. </li><li>Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience; experience in grant and funding development (laws, regulations and agency practices) is preferred. </li></ul>
