<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Marietta College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in wildlife biology, mammalogy, ecology, or conservation biology beginning Fall 2025. The Biology and Environmental Science Department offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, and Health Sciences. Teaching responsibilities: four undergraduate courses (12 contact hours) per semester in ecology, zoology, introductory level biology courses, and/or possibly other courses of interest to the candidate and the department. Candidates will also be expected to supervise student capstone projects.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Education requirements include a Ph.D. in biology or a closely related field by August 2025. Knowledge of field techniques, ecology, and the regional fauna is necessary. Previous teaching experience is preferred.</p> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Expectations:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated commitment to effective teaching at the college level.
