<p>The Millis Public Schools is seeking a qualified candidate who can provide math intervention to students in grades Kindergarten through Grade 5. The ideal candidate will have an ability to develop positive relationships with elementary school students and provide one to one and small group academic support in mathematics.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS: Experience teaching or tutoring elementary mathematics is preferred. Knowledge of best practices for mathematical instruction and intervention. Ability to differentiate instruction and scaffold content based on student needs. Familiarity with math intervention programs. Knowledge and understanding of Massachusetts Mathematics Curriculum Frameworks standards. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with teacher teams. Current MA DESE licensure is preferred.
