Through our research, outreach and entrepreneurial projects, Clemson University and its employees are driving economic development and improving quality of life in South Carolina and beyond.</p> <p>So,... are you ready?</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>Clemson University Athletics is looking for an Athletics Facilities Coordinator to fulfill the following duties:</p> <ul> <li>Manages student crews in maintenance, repair and operation of assigned athletics facilities. </li><li>Manages set-up and breakdown of facilities for hosting athletic and non-athletic events and competitions. </li><li>Assists with football games parking set-up and breakdown and other game-day duties. </li><li>Manages off-season repairs and maintenance of athletic facilities. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>JOB DUTIES:</p> <p>35% - Essential - Facility Maintenance:</p> <p>Manages routine maintenance, such as clean-up, pressure washing, painting, and drywall repair at assigned athletic facilities. Directs student workers.</p> <p>30% - Essential - Facility Set-up & Breakdown:</p> <p>Assists in set-up and breakdown of athletic facilities, including set-up for practices, Jervey Gym rentals and events, President's Box, the West Endzone, track meet rentals, and baseball stadium rentals. Installs and removes rowing course.</p> <p>25% - Essential - Off-Season Maintenance:</p> <p>Performs off-season maintenance on assigned facilities, such as cleaning, painting, trash and weed removal and other repairs. Manages student workers in off-season maintenance.</p> <p>10% - Essential - Event Parking & Other Duties:</p> <p>Assists with parking set-up and breakdown for all home football games and other game-day duties.</p> <p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>Education - High School or Equivalent</p> <p>Work Experience - 1+ years</p> <p>Licenses - Drivers License Class D normal < 26,000</p> <p>PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>Work Experience - Experience with commercial and residential plumbing fixtures</p> <p>Certifications - Plumbing Certificate</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>JOB KNOWLEDGE</p> <p>Firm Job Knowledge - Firm working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to use in varied situations</p> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Acts as Lead - Acts as a Lead by guiding the work of others who perform essentially the same work.</p> <p>BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>No Budget Responsibilities - No fiscal responsibility for the department's budget.</p> <p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>20% - Stand for prolonged period</p> <p>20% - Sit (stationary position) for prolonged period</p> <p>20% - Walk or move about</p> <p>10% - Use hands or feet to operate or handle machinery, equipment, etc</p> <p>10% - Ascend or descend (i.e. stairs, ladder)</p> <p>10% - Position self to accomplish task (i.e. stoop, kneel, crawl)</p> <p>20% - Communicate, converse, give direction, express oneself</p> <p>20% - Recognize or inspect visually</p> <p>20% - Move, transport, raise or lower</p> <p>20% - Extends hands or arms in any direction</p> <p>10% - Use taste or smell to detect or determine particular flavors or odors</p> <p>20% - Perceive, observe, clarity of vision</p> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS:</p> <p>5% - Exposure to heat or cold</p> <p>5% - Exposure to dust/fumes</p> <p>5% - Wet or humid</p> <p>5% - Noise</p> <p>5% - Mechanical Hazards</p> <p>5% - Chemical hazards</p> <p>5% - Electrical hazards</p> <p>5% - Exposure to bio-hazards (i.e. blood, bodily fluids)</p> <p>WORK SCHEDULE:</p> <p>Standard Hours: 37.5 Hours / Week</p> <p>COMPENSATION INFORMATION</p> <p>Salary Commensurate with Experience</p> <p>Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL</p> <p>Essential Level 1 Employee</p> <p>Required to respond during an emergency closure or modified operations in order to provide the University's initial response to the emergency situation, including the execution of mission essential functions.
