<p>LEOMINSTER PUBLIC SCHOOLS</p> <p>2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR</p> <p>Leominster Center for Technical Education Innovation School (CTEi)</p> <p>HVAC/R Instructor</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The Leominster Public Schools is in need of a Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, & Refrigeration (HVAC/R) Instructor for the Center for Technical Education innovation Chapter 74 HVAC/R Vocational Program.</p> <p>Reports to: Building Administration, Principal/Director & the Asst. Principal/Co-op Coordinator</p> <p>Expectations:</p> <p>This individual is accountable for the teaching, supervision, training, and certifications of students under their direction in the HVAC/R shop.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ol> <li>Responsible for the implementation of departmental curriculum objectives based on State of </li></ol> <p>Massachusetts VTE frameworks in HVAC</p> <ol start="2"> <li> <p>Responsible for the integration of the HVAC/R Department's curriculum.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for assuring equal educational opportunity to all individuals regardless of race, color,</p> </li></ol> <p>gender, age, marital status, religion, gender identity, natural origin, sexual orientation,</p> <p>homelessness, or disability.</p> <ol start="4"> <li>Perform other job-related duties as assigned </li></ol> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Possession of Section 608 EPA Certification at the Universal Level. </li><li>Advanced industry preparation in service technician experience in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning field. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>1) MA DESE Chapter 74 HVAC license 9-14</p> <p>2) Human relations skill set</p> <p>3) Competent in computer applications</p> <p>4) Candidates who are licensed in another state will be considered. (Must possess the equivalent</p> <p>license from another state and must have documented proof of working under that license for</p> <p>at least three school years). Candidates will need to apply for and pay for the DESE license as</p> <p>a condition of employment.</p>
