<p>In this position, the Electrical Apprentice will support Electricians in the maintenance, operation and repair of electrical systems. They will also assist and perform installation and maintenance tasks for the various areas of the Company.</p> <p>Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Arrive prepared for the job with all needed hand tools. </li><li>Assist Electricians on all solar electrical tasks, alignment adjustments and calibration of equipment. Assist with the installation of complete code compliant electrical systems in residential, commercial and industrial applications. </li><li>Assist Electricians with maintenance work orders on electrical equipment. i.e.: testing, trouble-shooting malfunctioning equipment, identifying defects, repairing equipment and replacing defective parts. </li><li>Follow directions using: manuals, schematics, diagrams, blueprints and equipment specifications. </li><li>Learn company procedures for installing and maintaining solar electrical systems following federal and safety regulations/safety requirements. </li><li>Comply with HIOSH and Company safety policies and practices. </li><li>Other tasks as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Completed or currently enrolled in an Electrician Apprentice course. </li><li>Must have electrical service work experience. </li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of electrical codes </li><li>2 years' experience in trades/construction with basic knowledge of electrical work. </li><li>Must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time. </li><li>Ability to climb ladders, stairs and work on rooftops. </li><li>Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs. </li><li>Must have personal tools. </li><li>Excellent customer service skills with a professional and positive demeanor. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive, and employees will also perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.
