<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Part time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>12 Hour Night Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Position Purpose:</p> <p>At Johnson Memorial Hospital, the Registered Nurses (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) delivers patient care to individuals in critical condition.</p> <p>What you will do:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assume responsibility for Critical Care Patients, conducting assessments, devising care plans, and adjusting critical drips to ensure hemodynamic stability and appropriate sedation levels.</p> </li><li> <p>Attend to patients requiring advanced monitoring, heightened observation, utilization of invasive equipment, and administration of intricate medication regimens.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Graduation from an accredited nursing school</p> </li><li> <p>Valid RN License in Connecticut</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Nursing</p> </li><li> <p>Ideal candidates will have one or more years of ICU, Critical Care, or Step Down nursing experience</p> </li><li> <p>Candidates with a minimum of one year of acute inpatient nursing experience will be considered for training</p> </li><li> <p>BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) - ACLS certification, support available for certification post-hire.</p> </li></ul> <p>Position Highlights:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Part Time- 24hrs/Night Shift</p> </li><li> <p>Every other Weekend/Holiday</p> </li></ul> <p>Ministry/Facility Information</p> <p>Johnson Memorial Hospital and Home & Community Health Services provide a continuum of health care services to those living and working in north central Connecticut and western Massachusetts.
