<p>Pembroke Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher for a substantially separate social-emotional classroom at the elementary level. This classroom supports students with emotional, behavioral, and social needs who require a highly structured, therapeutic learning environment. The teacher will implement individualized academic and behavioral programming while collaborating closely with support staff and related service providers.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Provide specialized instruction aligned with students' IEPs in a substantially separate setting</p> <p>Utilize evidence-based strategies to support students with emotional and behavioral disabilities</p> <p>Develop and implement behavior intervention plans and social-emotional learning strategies</p> <p>Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment focused on relationship-building and positive behavior support</p> <p>Collaborate regularly with school counselors, psychologists, BCBA, paraprofessionals, and related service providers</p> <p>Collect and maintain data on student progress toward academic and behavioral goals</p> <p>Evaluate students through formal and informal assessments, write comprehensive special education evaluation reports, and participate in the eligibility determination process</p> <p>Facilitate and participate in IEP and annual review meetings, contributing to the development of appropriate goals and services</p> <p>Communicate effectively with families and maintain regular, professional correspondence</p> <p>Support successful inclusion opportunities when appropriate</p> <p>Maintain compliance with all state and federal special education regulations</p>
