<p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Associate Director - Fitness Equipment (Project Management) is responsible for planning and execution of all fitness equipment projects across new club openings, renovations, and maintenance initiatives. This role ensures the successful delivery of projects by managing timelines, budgets, vendor coordination, and installation logistics while maintaining alignment with brand standards and member experience expectations.</p> <p>This position acts as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners and plays a critical role in scaling and optimizing project delivery across the organization.</p> <p>Job Duties/Responsibilities</p> <p>Project Management</p> <ul> <li>Oversee end-to-end project management for all fitness equipment installations including new clubs openings, remodels, and maintenance initiatives. </li><li>Coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners, and installers to ensure on-time delivery and setup of equipment. </li><li>Identify and mitigate project risks; proactively resolve issues to avoid delays or cost overruns. </li><li>Ensure all equipment projects are delivered on time, withing scope, and are in alignment to brand specifications and safety standards. </li></ul> <p>Operational Excellence</p> <ul> <li>Maintain standardized project workflows, documentation, and reporting across all initiatives. </li><li>Continuously evaluate and improve project processes to enhance speed, efficiency, and quality. </li><li>Drive alignment on prioritization and timelines across multiple project types and regions. </li></ul> <p>Team Leadership & Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Lead, develop, and mentor a team of project managers and coordinators. </li><li>Collaborate closely with key departments including FFE, Facilities, Operations, and Finance. </li><li>Serve as the point of escalation for project-related issues and decision-making. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Required Qualifications</p> <p>Other:</p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of fitness equipment installation, logistics, and vendor coordination. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously. </li><li>Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Supply Chain, or related field. </li></ul> <p>Years of Experience:</p> <ul> <li>7+ years of project management experience; multi-site or multi-phase project experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:</p> <ul> <li>n/a </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Strategic thinking with attention to operational detail </li><li>Data-driven decision making </li><li>Team leadership and talent development </li><li>Results-oriented and highly organized </li><li>Process improvement mindset </li></ul> <p>Pay</p> <p>This is a salaried position starting at $78,000.00 and pays up to $107,000.00, based on experience and qualifications.</p> <p>Benefits</p> <p>All team members receive the following benefits while working for Life Time:</p> <ul> <li> <p>A fully subsidized membership</p> </li><li> <p>Discounts on Life Time products and services</p> </li><li> <p>401(k) retirement savings plan with company discretionary match (21 years of age and older)</p> </li><li> <p>Training and professional development</p> </li><li> <p>Paid sick leave where required by law</p> </li></ul> <p>Full-time Team Members are eligible for additional benefits, including:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage</p> </li><li> <p>Short term and long term disability insurance</p> </li><li> <p>Life insurance</p> </li><li> <p>Pre-tax flexible spending and dependent care plans</p> </li><li> <p>Parental leave and adoption assistance</p> </li><li> <p>Paid time off, including 5 to 20 vacation days per calendar year (based on tenure) and paid sick leave</p> </li><li> <p>Deferred compensation plan, if the team member meets the required income threshold</p> </li></ul> <p>Life Time is a place for everyone.
