This position is based in Union County.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program </li><li>NJ Occupational Therapy License </li><li>School Certification in NJ </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Pediatric affiliation </li></ul> <p>Certifications and Licenses Required:</p> <ul> <li>NJ Occupational Therapy License </li><li>School Certification in NJ </li></ul> <p>Scheduling Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>10-month salary with opportunity for additional summer work </li><li>37.5 hours/week </li><li>Full Time </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Available during the regular school hours at assigned site and for required meetings within the parameters of the scheduled work day </li><li>Is adept in utilizing the educational model of service vs. the medical model of service in regards to the development and maintenance of a student's therapy program </li><li>Demonstrates good and timely communication skills to receive or convey essential and important information (i.e., reports and evaluations), to pertinent educational staff, CSH School Services staff, parents, student and other necessary entities </li><li>Will participate in IEP and other school meetings when appropriate.
