<p>Job Summary</p> <p>Vertiv's Global Engineering Services group is seeking a Technical Product (Offering) Manager to help define and maintain our Rack PDU portfolios for our data center infrastructure connectivity solutions. Work will include working with internal and external customers, prioritizing feature backlog with Agile techniques, create technical Market Requirement Documents (MRDs) to clearly define needs of market to engineering teams. A successful candidate could be skilled in any of several areas of expertise: Agile, Program Management, Interpersonal skills, technical proficiency,</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>New Product Development and Introduction (NPDI) experience is key </li><li>Report and resolve blocking issues across multiple programs </li><li>Engage with Agile Engineering and Program Managers to ensure on-time programs </li><li>Engage with Contract Manufactures to ensure once hardware and software designs are complete, that they are manufactured correctly in conjunction with our partner companies </li><li>Optimize program reporting across design centers (USA, India, China, others) </li><li>Create metrics for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) </li><li>Creation of OPEX/CAPEX Purchase Orders for Core Engineering </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, or other technical degree. Master of Business Administration is a plus. </li><li>Agile certification is preferred. </li><li>Experience with Contract Manufactures and third-party vendors is a plus </li><li>10+ years' experience as a NPDI and/or Program Manager, preferably in firmware product development environment. </li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Proven ability to lead engineers to achieve common goals and to accomplish tasks. </li><li>Exceptional use of Gantt/SmartSheet/Excel tracking is required. </li><li>Use of AI Program Management capabilities is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Physical & Environmental Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift 40 pounds </li></ul> <p>Time Travel Required</p> <ul> <li>10% </li></ul> <p>The successful candidate will embrace Vertiv's Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.</p> <p>OUR CORE PRINCIPALS: Safety.
