As a force for L'Oréal's innovation, CDMO delivers the best consumer experiences, drives new marketing models, and spearheads new digital capabilities to futureproof the group's business.</p> <p>The Director- BETiq Adoption is an instrumental role within LUSA's established and robust BETiq program; with the goal to augment marketer's annual A&P budget decision making with data driven insights. Leveraging two key skillsets: expertise in marketing mix and performance analytics, combined with cross-functional leadership to translate complex data into actionable strategies and executive-level decision frameworks. Sitting at the crossroads of marketing analytics expertise, knowledge of modeling capabilities and strong stakeholder leadership to support this multi-faceted marketing effectiveness initiative that requires alignment across analytics teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership.</p> <p>An ideal candidate will possess a sharp analytical mindset and have the capability to clearly articulate and apply business analysis and analytical learnings to continue driving adoption and full-funnel value creation for specific brands and at a transversal level. Strong communication skills (both oral and written), comfortable working across multiple work-streams and stakeholders simultaneously, contain a flexible/adaptable mindset (being able to adjust thinking on the fly), and have a lighter, patient approach in order to train others within the business teams (CDMO, media teams, brand teams, financial teams, global teams) on the tool's working inputs and application of its outputs to their specific business lenses. Optimal candidate will also possess strong program management skills - timeline management, roles/responsibility assignments, task execution - for efficient and effective adoption.</p> <p>For context: The BETiq tool is part of a larger transformation within the overall Groupe - evolving L'Oreal into a stronger data-driven organization; using data-driven decisions in strategic planning to maximize business ROI + effectiveness and in-market brand performance (sell-out share). BETiq is a quantitative tool which leverages MMM data and modeling (marketing touchpoint response curves) to provide output to business teams, informing them on how to maximize incremental sell-out while ensuring robust growth of brand equity.</p> <p>WHAT YOU WILL DO:</p> <ul> <li>Lead a two-person team of full-year consultants, 5+ seasonal hands-on-keys consultants and indirectly manage six internal team members to facilitate upskilling/training sessions, the budget workshop process, deliver validated scenarios to Finance and provide transversal analysis and insights on adoption and implementation. </li><li>Partner with finance teams throughout the year to reinforce adoption opportunities during annual budget milestones (Trend). </li><li>Serve as the day-to-day face and champion for the BETiq tool - with a positive (but transparent) perspective and outlook. Proactively seek to resolve issues to keep all pieces moving forward </li><li>Translate global and corporate learning agendas and business objectives into program plan and partner and align delivery with business cadence. </li><li>Drive the feedback loop of tool and process improvement, reflective of local structure and go-to-market approach, through always-on and formal collection to articulate the use case and impact to global BETiq leadership. </li><li>Implement the expansion of BETiq's data-driven decision making across all brands, completing the full business transformation and integration of AI assisted A&P budgeting. </li></ul> <p>WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR</p> <p>SKILLS</p> <ul> <li>Experience across at least 2 professional disciplines (with media experience a "must have"): media (planning or measurement, at least 3+ years), brand management, marketing research, statistical modeling, and business strategy. </li><li>Successful track record of synthesizing strategic business knowledge with data analysis/insights; capable at driving business strategy and decisions using analytics. </li><li>Specific marketing response modeling expertise such as MMM (Marketing Mix Modeling) and business application. </li><li>Cross functional skills - can explore different business viewpoints and work with teams to develop mutually owned solutions </li><li>Can solve problems in complex situations using creative and conceptual reasoning. </li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills (able to communicate complex marketing measurement and research results to a general audience), extremely well-organized; a leader in program management. </li><li>Expert at bridging the gap between large data sets and business strategy, ensuring that large-scale analysis leads directly to measurable ROI (Excel) and data storytelling, translating high-volume quantitative analysis into snackable, visual insights for C-suite decision-makers (Powerpoint). </li><li>Ability to multi-task and communicate in a transversal, matrixed environment </li><li>Proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and an entrepreneurial spirit. </li><li>Establish and maintain excellent working relationship with key functional groups. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>8+ years relevant industry experience (ideally 5 years minimum experience at a consulting agency; i.e. Bain, McKinsey or BCG working directly on key client projects related to marketing, media, or analytics strategy) </li><li>BBA/BS in Marketing/Management, Statistics/Mathematics, or Economics.
