<p>Position Summary</p> <p>Education - Licensures:</p> <p>Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree in Higher Education, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Student Affairs, or related field preferred.</p> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Three to six years of experience in disability services, mental health/well-being programming, student affairs, case management, or related work in a higher education setting preferred. </li><li>Experience implementing ADA/504 accommodations strongly preferred. </li><li>Experience with crisis response, student support, or behavioral intervention preferred. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of ADA/504 compliance, disability documentation, and accommodation best practices. </li><li>Understanding of student development theory, mental health concerns, trauma-informed practices, and well-being promotion. </li><li>Strong interpersonal, communication, and mediation skills. </li><li>Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality. </li><li>Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. </li><li>Demonstrated cultural competence and ability to work effectively with diverse student populations. </li><li>Ability to collaborate across departments and build trusting student relationships. </li></ul> <p>ABILITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS:</p> <p>Has the ability to articulate the role of the College in educating students and communicate the benefits and strengths the College provides to learners. Strong organizational skills that facilitate the development and implementation of advising services. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, possesses leadership abilities which encompass flexibility and problem-solving skills, and is a collaborative team member.
