Build your career with the industry-leading fire, life safety and security company.</p> <p>The Commercial Security Sales Representative is responsible for increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with new customers.</p> <p>Our ideal candidate will have industry knowledge and live in the Middletown, CT region to effectively support our customer base in CT, MA, and RI. We offer a highly competitive commission structure as well as a base pay of $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 based on experience.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads</p> </li><li> <p>Communicates with customers and leads to identifying product or service needs</p> </li><li> <p>Sell products and services following assessments</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrates functions and utility of products or services to customers</p> </li><li> <p>Act as an Account Manager to rebuild relationships with existing customers, alerting them to new products, services, and enhancements</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare and manage detailed reports of activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship issues</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure customer satisfaction through communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale</p> </li><li> <p>Provides periodic territory sales forecasts</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties assigned by management</p> </li></ul> <p>Education & Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience directly selling security products and services</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and customer service skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment</p> </li><li> <p>Adhere to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policies</p> </li><li> <p>Must speak English</p> </li><li> <p>Currently have and maintain a clean driving record and valid Driver's License - travel to customer sites required</p> </li></ul> <p>#isgsecurity #Indeed</p> <p>Benefits and Perks:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Excellent pay</p> </li><li> <p>Medical, dental, vision</p> </li><li> <p>Company paid life insurance</p> </li><li> <p>Company paid short term disability</p> </li><li> <p>401K with employer match</p> </li><li> <p>Paid vacation and company holidays</p> </li><li> <p>Training and Career Development</p> </li><li> <p>Company vehicle (if job applicable)</p> </li></ul> <p>Pye-Barker Fire and Safety is an Equal Opportunity Employer</p>
