Successful candidates will have the opportunity to join a highly successful, collegial, and collaborative neuroscience-focused department at a Carnegie R1 research university, and preferred candidates are expected to complement department research initiatives focused on neurobiological disorders across the lifespan. The position is intended to assist the department in leveraging the significant USC investment in the newly established Brain Health Center for delivering exceptional care through clinical innovation and research powered by the latest brain imaging technology, as well as plans for South Carolina's first comprehensive medical facility dedicated to the integrated care of patients with brain and nervous system illnesses. Preferred candidates will have at least 12 months of postdoctoral experience or the equivalent by the beginning date of employment and also show evidence of potential for scholarly productivity, potential for success in extramural research funding, potential for excellence in graduate and medical education, and translational research expertise in neuroimaging approaches and/or computational approaches.
