<p>Position Type: Full-time</p> <p>Information about the Company: Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes.</p> <p>We are hiring immediately for experienced Machine Adjusters and Trainee Machine Adjusters in our Jersey City, NJ manufacturing plant.</p> <p>Experienced Machine Adjuster</p> <ul> <li>$24/hr or higher depending on experience + $1/hr 3rd shift premium </li><li>3rd shift 11pm -- 7am; Training takes place on 1st shift 7am -- 3pm </li><li>5+ years of experience as an Envelope Machine Adjuster is required </li></ul> <p>Trainee Machine Adjuster</p> <ul> <li>$20/hr or higher depending on relevant experience + $1/hr 3rd shift premium </li><li>4+ years of Intermediate to Advanced hands on mechanical skills required to set up, diagnose/repair production equipment as well as complete changeovers, size changes, etc. </li></ul> <p>Important Notes:</p> <ul> <li>Training typically takes place on 1st shift </li><li>The schedule is Mon-Fri with Saturdays required during busy season/based on business needs </li><li>Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a ruler; basic computer skills. </li><li>Flexibility required with machine assignment. </li><li>The Trainee position is a developmental role that requires the individual to be successfully progressing to a Machine Adjuster position by successfully completing the training The individual's performance will be evaluated to determine progress in and suitability for the role. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements & Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Regular standing, walking, carrying, climbing, reaching, bending, stooping. </li><li>Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds with assistance. </li><li>Exposure to production equipment, noise, hazardous materials (inks, solvents, glue, etc.). </li><li>Must be able to work in hot or cold weather. </li><li>Ability to handle high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift. </li><li>Mental alertness to stop equipment when jam occurs. </li></ul> <p>Cenveo is an EEO Employer</p>
