<p>Overview</p> <p>Job Title: Gravel & Asphalt OilerDivision: Aggregates<strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>____</strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></p> <p>Job Summary: Under the direction of the Aggregate Foreman, the oiler is primarily responsible to properly lubricate, service, and maintain oil and antifreeze levels for equipment and machinery in an efficient and safe manner.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities: • Visualize, fulfill, and implement the company vision and core values.• Responsible for keeping crusher area clean and maintaining lubrication records.• Assist crusher crew with repair and maintenance projects.• General cleanup around all crushing equipment.• Grease, fuel, and oil equipment in an efficient and safe manner.• Responsible to perform preventative maintenance, fuel, and oil for crushers.• Perform parts inventory and ordering duties. • Maintain tools as required to perform job.• Ensure a safe and healthful work environment by keeping assigned area clean from trash and debris at all times.<strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>____</strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></p> <p>Education and/or Experience:• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).• Attention and commitment to a safe work environment required.• Ability to follow instructions and work well with others in a team environment.• Ability to work long hours and to move at least 65 pounds.• 1 year working knowledge of lubrication and construction equipment preferred.<strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>____</strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></p> <p>Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.• Safety: All company and MSHA safety policies need to be followed at all times. This includes wearing fall protection including safety harnesses and all required PPE. Maintaining a clean hazard free working area is required.• Sitting: 10% of time during lunch and breaks.• Standing: 90 % of time.• Weight Lifted: Must frequently be able to lift and carry up to 65 pounds. May occasionally lift items above their head.• Physical Movement: May frequently be required to walk over uneven ground, balance, stoop/crouch, kneel, grab and hold objects. Required to climb a ladder on crushing equipment.• Speaking / Listening: Needs to be able to communicate well with supervision such as foreman, Aggregate Superintendent, crusher operator, and other members of the crew. Receive and follow instructions and understand safety requirements.• Working Conditions: 100% of time will be spent working outside in the elements.
