We are seeking a strategic and highly skilled Art Director to lead our in-house creative team and elevate visual storytelling across our campus. This role combines creative leadership with significant hands-on graphic design work-you'll shape the brand across campaigns, events, signage, and more while actively contributing design execution from concept to completion.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead and mentor a team of in-house designers and freelancers </li><li>Serve as lead graphic designer for key projects across venues, events, and campaigns </li><li>Direct branding, marketing visuals, environmental graphics, and digital asset development </li><li>Partner with the Exhibits team to design and produce large-scale visual projects across property </li><li>Collaborate with the Creative Project Manager to manage deadlines, capacity, and workflow </li><li>Guide the development of new event and program identities from the ground up </li><li>Maintain and evolve Thanksgiving Point's brand presence across all platforms </li><li>Work with marketing, venue directors, and executive stakeholders to align visual direction with organizational goals </li><li>Ensure quality, brand consistency, and timely delivery across all projects </li><li>Exemplify Thanksgiving Point's mission, values, and guest-centric approach </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>7+ years of graphic design experience, including at least 2 years in a creative leadership or art direction role </li><li>Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, or related field (preferred) </li><li>A strong portfolio showcasing graphic design across branding, campaigns, print, and digital media </li><li>Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); motion or digital tools like After Effects or Figma are a plus </li><li>Proven ability to lead creative teams while also contributing directly as a senior designer </li><li>Calm under pressure, with a proactive "can do!" attitude </li><li>Professional, kind, and team-oriented at all times </li><li>Highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities </li><li>Must pass a background check </li></ul> <p>EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
