<p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Field Procurement Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and executing procurement activities at a designated project site or location. This role manages the full procurement lifecycle-including sourcing, planning, purchasing, delivery, and return of materials, rentals, consumables, and subcontracted services-in support of project requirements. Responsibilities include ordering and tracking materials, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely and accurate data entry to support jobsite operations.</p> <p>As an active member of the project team, the Coordinator collaborates with project managers, general foremen, and superintendents to support and influence purchasing decisions, ensuring alignment with project schedules and operational needs. This is a safety-sensitive position.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Relationship Driven:</p> </li><li> <p>Communicates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective operations and customer service.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists project team and instills best practices regarding onsite procurement processes and productivity.</p> </li><li> <p>Develops and maintains effective relationships with suppliers.</p> </li><li> <p>Team Focused:</p> </li><li> <p>Establishes priorities across multiple areas of operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Key point of contact on-site for Procurement to ensure all established practices are followed.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides assistance and support regarding material requests, sourcing, orders and tracking.</p> </li><li> <p>Tracks project purchase orders to ensure timely delivery to project, addressing any delays, shortages, or quality issues with suppliers.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborates with logistics, warehouse and inventory teams to monitor inventory levels and help prevent stockouts or overstock situations.</p> </li><li> <p>Operationally Minded:</p> </li><li> <p>Assists projects with the execution of the project specific procurement plan.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinates with off-site construction, warehousing, logistics, and outside suppliers to ensure that all material requirements for a given project are met.</p> </li><li> <p>Responds timely to inquiries from internal customers and suppliers about order status, changes, returns and/or cancellations and assist with resolutions.</p> </li><li> <p>Drives systems and procedures to allow for the highest level of productivity and safest execution of tasks, while adhering to company procedures and relevant regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Understands, plans and execute on-site requirements through meeting attendance, available systems, documents and collaboration with other trades and onsite leadership.</p> </li><li> <p>Continuous Improvement:</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinates with project leadership to identify opportunities for continuous improvement through various means to include procurement processes, value added services and onsite support.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepares reports on procurement activities; manages procurement key performance indicators and reports these to appropriate leaders.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrates a working knowledge of procurement processes and Lean techniques.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective processes, completion of projects and smooth operation of department.</p> </li></ul>
