Do you enjoy working outdoors?</p> <p>If yes, we have an opportunity for you!</p> <p>The Ohio Department of Transportation, District 10, is now accepting applications for Summer Laborers for the following counties: Athens, Gallia, Hocking, Meigs, Monroe, Morgan, Noble, Vinton and Washington. These are seasonal temporary positions with an anticipated end date of September 5, 2025. There are multiple positions, your application will be considered for all positions.</p> <p>2025 Summer Laborer (Multiple Counties)</p> <p>What You Will Do:</p> <ul> <li>Flag/traffic control for highway maintenance </li><li>Drive pickup truck to set out/pick up signs & follow mowing crew </li><li>Roadside litter pickup, clean &/or wash vehicles & equipment </li><li>Clean/hose down garage areas </li><li>Use weed eater to trim around buildings, fences, etc. </li><li>Help clean up roadsides when work crews are cutting brush/tree trimming </li><li>Answer phone &/or radio when clerk is unavailable </li></ul> <p>Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition, subtraction, multiplication & division. In accordance with Section 124.11 (B)(2) of Revised Code, Director of Administrative Services has determined this classification to be unskilled labor class & therefore exempt from written examination.</p> <ul> <li>Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above. </li></ul> <p>Job Skills: Transportation</p>
