<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Onondaga Community College invites applications for potential Nursing adjunct positions in an ACEN accredited Associate Degree Nursing program.</p> <p>MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Responsibilities include teaching:</p> <ul> <li>Nursing theory. </li><li>Clinical instruction and evaluation. </li><li>Lab instruction and evaluation. </li><li>Turning in grades on time. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>An earned Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university or foreign equivalency </li><li>Current NYS RN registration and CPR certification. </li><li>Three (3) years current acute care experience in the field. </li><li>Must be able to assist students with bedside nursing care and have broad experience with current and evolving health technology. </li><li>Advanced computer skills are also required. </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Bilingual in English and Spanish. English and another language will be considered. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <ul> <li>Adjunct faculty rate for 2024-25 is $1,440/credit hour. </li><li>Persons hired for this position are eligible to participate in the NYS Teacher's Retirement System.
