<p>Job Title: Pharmacist</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>This role involves utilizing clinical skills to perform utilization management reviews, including prior authorizations, coverage exceptions, and quantity limit exceptions. You will be working independently but as part of a team of pharmacy professionals. Quality and performance are evaluated based on monthly goals. While all new pharmacists start on a contract basis, there is potential for long-term employment.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Conduct utilization management reviews such as prior authorizations and coverage exceptions. </li><li>Achieve monthly quality and productivity goals. </li><li>Participate in team efforts with other pharmacy professionals. </li><li>Complete training for specialized cases if opportunities arise. </li><li>Cross-train in other departments such as Medication Therapy Management (MTM) or Call Center Counseling (CCC) if available. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science Pharmacy degree. </li><li>Current pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy. </li><li>Two years of experience in retail, managed care, or clinical pharmacy. </li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects. </li><li>Drive to deliver results and motivated self-starter. </li><li>Capability to make clinical decisions independently. </li><li>Flexibility and resourcefulness. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Proficient with learning new computer systems and basic IT troubleshooting. </li><li>Proficiency in Word and Excel. </li><li>Ability to type 35+ WPM. </li><li>Previous PBM or Case/Care Management experience preferred. </li><li>Retail experience highly preferred over hospital experience. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This is a fully remote work-from-home position, open to candidates located in any state except California, Hawaii, or Virginia. Shifts generally start between 9-10am CST and are determined by team bid based on seniority. Full-time schedules plus overtime are expected during peak seasons, typically from November to May. Weekend shifts rotate, and holiday work is determined by team bid. Training is mandatory for the first 10-12 weeks, with no time off allowed during this period. The training schedule is Monday to Friday from 8-4:30pm CST, and involves instructor-led sessions, videos, worksheets, and practice cases.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $55.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job</p> <p>classification and length of employment.
