Partnering with Senior Leadership, Yale University Human Resources and YNHH Training leadership, this position will focus on improving organizational performance by creating and facilitating training processes and methodologies to support the organizational strategies of building a high performance organization.</p> <p>Required Skills and Abilities</p> <ol> <li> <p>Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation communications skills. High level of consultative, collaboration and teamwork skills. Ability to partner with client groups and HR team.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to interact and influence at all levels from individual contributors to senior leadership. Strategic planning experience in organizational development.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong conceptual analytic and systems thinking abilities with extensive project management and planning skills. Proven track record of professionalism, adaptability, taking initiative, leading, influencing and multitasking.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to design, develop, an implement effective institution wide, strategies, processes, and initiatives in lead innovation and change. Knowledge of current principles, practices, end trends in leadership in management as they apply to development, performance, and culture.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to assess organizational, in leadership development needs and formulate long term planning strategies and initiatives. Experience and vendor selection and management.</p> </li></ol> <p>Preferred Skills and Abilities</p> <p>Masters degree in related fields</p> <p>Principal Responsibilities</p> <ol> <li>With a keen understanding of the business training trends within the industry, this position will identify, design, develop and implement technical and non-technical training programs consistent with the goals and objectives of Yale Medical Group. 2. Create an organizational performance core competency model that achieves consistent and measurable high performance standards required of our workforce. Cultivate the results of the model into working tools that optimize the performance standards of our human capital. 3. Determine and develop training initiatives through job analysis, system and process assessment to develop training tools and programs. Create curriculum using field concepts, practices and procedures. Determine needs assessment that both captures current and future processes capturing changing business needs as performance standards evolve with the changing industry. 4. Develop a wide variety of training methods and determine the means of delivery through conventional training methods and technical training methods. Deliver training through effective means and monitor and evaluate training programs effectiveness. Provide metrics on each programs development and delivery. 5. Manage training budget. Determine needs vs. costs. Provide metrics, cost analysis and productivity analysis for senior leadership. Required Education and Experience 1. Bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of 8 years of experience in Development/Behavior, Psychology, Human Resources or related area. 2. Experience in teaching and leading talent management, succession planning, leadership development and large organizational effectiveness projects. 3.
