As an A-Tech, you will serve as a technical expert and mentor, ensuring our fleet of Diesel and CNG vehicles is maintained to the highest safety and operational standards.</p> <p>The Team Green Advantage (Incentives):</p> <ul> <li> <p>Overtime paid after 40 hours worked</p> </li><li> <p>15 Days of Paid Time Off (PTO)</p> </li><li> <p>$150 Monthly Tool Allowance ($1,800 annually)</p> </li><li> <p>Annual Boot Reimbursement</p> </li><li> <p>Comprehensive Health Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) after 60 days</p> </li><li> <p>401(k) with Employer Match after 6 months</p> </li><li> <p>Paid training and career advancement opportunities</p> </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Diagnose and repair Diesel and CNG powered trucks, including engines, electrical, hydraulics, and fuel systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead inspections of brake systems, engine components, emission systems, and steering mechanisms.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide guidance and mentorship to Level B and C mechanics.</p> </li><li> <p>Prioritize repairs to maximize fleet efficiency and timely completion of work orders.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee mechanical write-ups and coordinate repair schedules.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform DOT and brake inspections on all vehicles.</p> </li><li> <p>Complete daily reports, work orders, and parts ordering.</p> </li><li> <p>Interpret intricate electrical and diagnostic schematics.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with all regulations.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>5+ years of heavy-duty diesel/CNG maintenance experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and related state/federal regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Valid Brake Safety Certificate and 609 A/C System Certification.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience using diagnostic software and computer-based work order systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication skills to interact with drivers, vendors, and management.</p> </li><li> <p>Class A or B CDL preferred (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).</p> </li><li> <p>ASE Certifications are highly preferred.</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to stand, sit, kneel, crawl, and climb ladders for extended periods.</p> </li><li> <p>Concentrated mental and visual attention required for diagnostic work.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work in varying weather conditions and loud environments.</p> </li></ul> <p>Apply now to join Team Green!</p> <p>#GFLTalent #WilsonNC #DieselMechanic</p> <p>We thank you for your interest.
